Well… I am happy to announce that I got 5th place in my first show! Top 5 was my goal so I am 100% satisfied! Right now I am in my off season. I just recently started lifting again. (after being very sick for 3 weeks) I am on a new supp that is suppose to help with strength and size! Let’s hope so! The only complaint from the judges was that I was kind of small in size. They said my symetry was perfect and I had a wonderful ease on stage! YEAH!
My next show will be in April in Tulsa. I start tumbling next week and I am hoping to compete in Fitness this next go round! I have to say after that first walk on stage that I am hooked! I love the way I look AND feel for the first time in my life! I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know many more of you on here! THANK YOU for all your love, support and encouragement throughout this long and tedious process! Keep on Rockin everybody! Love… Mal

Okay so… I am 6 weeks out from my very first figure competition! I can’t even tell you all how very excited I am!
First of all… all the progress that you see in my pictures was done by lots of homework. By that I mean that I have done this all on my own! NO TRAINER.. until now that is. As of last week I have my very first trainer. I know…6 weeks out my my first comp and I’ve accomplished sooo much on my own. I can’t imagine the results to come in the next 6 weeks. Mike Hill is the name of my trainer. He also competes! Very good at what he does. We are meeting 3 days a week now. I love how my workouts are going. We got to drop by cardio to 3 days a week for now because I am leaning out quikly!
I’m not complaing though!
I want to say THANK YOU to all of you here on body space that keep me motivated! There is sooo much good information on here! So glad I found it! Well… actually it came reccommended from Ava Cowan!
Looking forward to sharing more progress and letting you all know how well I place! Red River here I come!!!

Okay… this is my first attempt at blogging on Body Space so……. In the next 4 weeks I am working towards dropping from 15.5% body fat to 12% body fat! Lots of cardio after my hard lifting sessions! Legs hurt more than they ever right now and I am seeing abs on myself for the first time in my life! YEAH! Thanks body space for all the knowledge and support! My goals are finally becoming a reality!!! Check back for update pictures soon.
