Back
Am I the only one that never "feels" their back working out?? I never feel a pump or a burn and don’t remember ever being sore. I know I must be working because I see the changes. I started out today with kneeling cable pull downs, 5 sets (the first was a warm up) going from 50 to 80 #. Lat pull down with the D handle bar 4 sets:70, 80, 80,90. Then I did the hammer strength seated pull backs with 35# to 55#. And finished up with DB rows 4 sets with 25 and 35# DB’s. I’m going to ride my bike this evening after work. I think the trail is 8-10 miles and not too difficult.
HAPPY LABOR DAY TO ALL!!!!!!!

Try negatives on pullups or chinups instead of your regular pulldowns one workout. My gym has steps at their chinning bar. Get yourself in the top position and let yourself down sloooooowly for a few sets of 5 to 10 reps. Maybe you’ll feel THAT. Have a great bike ride.

One back tip that has helped me in regards to technique is quite simply: Rather than thinking of back exercises as pulling movements, focus on pushing backwards with your elbows on rows and pulldowns. Sounds goofy but give it a try…it’s helped me to really feel the back working and at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about.

Both sound like great tips and I’m going to use both of them next week!!
