Wow I haven’t posted since May and now it’s almost December!

What happened meantime? We were in Vienna for a week in August; then hubby was on a business trip in October, then he took me wt him for 3 weeks in Oct-Nov and now my b-day is coming up…

My weight has been playing wt me as usual, going up and down…I was 55.2 kg at one point when hubby was away and I was too sad to eat…then when we came back home I was 57.7 kg….then don’t know how I ended up at almost 59 kg…ugh now I’m at 58.1 kg and working my way down…again!

I’m weighing everything I eat and I work out more; I aim to burn 800 cal/week from cardio and so far so good.

Let’s hope i can get back to 57 kg by my b-day …

When i joined on Apr 15, 2006 I was 165.4 lbs/75 kg by my mechanical scale [which i eventually sent to a one way trip to the garbage]. Several months later I got a digital scale which put me 2 lbs / 1 kg over my mechanical one…this scale died a sudden death when hubby got mad at it and tore it to pieces…then i got a nice digital scale which is still here…it also showed 2 lbs / 1 kg over the other digital hence by small calculations i can say i was actually around 77 kg / 170 lbs when i started to lose weight. i have never updated my SW though.

By my wedding in Nov 2006 I was 63 kg / 139 lbs, which was borderline normal

Almost 2 yrs from my first day on Spark I’m 57.7 kg / 127.2 lbs and bitching abt not reaching my goal weight (a hazy 121 lbs/ 55 kg for now)…

I’m very happy with my progress , my fitness less and my body but i’m a perfectionist…

The original equations from Harris and Benedict are:

or 1223.02962 cal if moderately active [Moderate activity: (moderate exercise or sports 3 to 5 days per week]

NOW SHALL I WONDER WHY I HAVE BEEN STUCK SINCE SEPT 2007?!?!?!?!?!?

And since those numbers TAKE into account the exercise AND i do not intend to eat under 1200 cal/day, does that mean that:

a) it would take another YEAR to lose the last 10-12 lbs? or
b) i am doomed at eating 1200-1300 cal/day all my life b/c i’m small ?

on a lighter note…

minute 0-05:00 ; brisk walk
05:01 -06:00 ; run as fast as i could
06:01-07:30; walk
07:31-08:30; run
08:31-10:00; walk
10:01-11:00 ; run
11:01-12:30 ; walk
12:31-13:30; run
13:31-15:00; walk
15:01-16:00; run
16:01-17:30; walk
17:31-18:30; run
18:31-20:00 ; walk

total cal burned as per my stepper: 213.8

that’s b/c i don’t have a HRM and i can’t take my running outside which sucks. and i am not in the market for one until i come back from Vienna in mid-May [the darn USD/EUR exchange ratio is making me crazy!]

yeah I got one of those BIA body fat monitors for like under $10. that’s a good sign it’s not that accurate right?

here goes the entire story…hubby’s stick thin and got a reading of 16% or so. me…on the other hand, couldn’t even get it to work until a friend told me i should be damp on my hands. once i did that i got a 27.9-28-28.9% reading on different times of the day. now, seriously…based on measurements i’m somewhere around 19-22% but this thing is making me crazy…

if that darn thing is accurate -unless it loves to mock me!!! - i need to work out a lot more…at least school is over but i still work full time and love what i do. i do work out more lately but still not enough. can’t wait for better weather to go out and play tennis.

on another note, we -me and hubby- are going to Vienna in May..so i’ll walk a lot again and take photos. I’d kill to lose some weight by then but i don’t think that’s going to happen

i just got some new clothes…all pants and jeans were 36 Romanian size. I was 48 at my HW of 165.4 lbs 2 yrs ago. So that’s a HUGE change. My tops are all M
