not the best
Yesterday I went back to the biking trail, I have had so much fun with this that I decided to go ahead and buy a new (good) bike. I am doing well at 20 miles and intend to see how much I can push it to. The other part of this is that I had a really crappy I mean REALLY crappy workout tonight. I felt very weak and tired and thought that I would work through it as usual but no such luck. I was not able to lift as much weight or do as much as usual. I am going to try to keep better track of my eating for the next 2 days and get some more rest to see if that doesn’t help. Wish me luck.

Fueling for workouts is SO important!! Definatly make sure your diet is giving you enough for the biking and the workouts!!

Hi Stormi, how goes it hun? Yeah, I had been doing pretty good at eating enough until the last couple of days. It just gets very difficult for me to eat as much when it is hot and humid. I LOVE Texas summers but they really effect my appetite. Any suggestions?

Texas summers are so brutal!! But it never effects my appetite.
hehehehe!!! You already know that if you want to grow those gorgeous muscles, you need to EAT … and eat slightly above maintenance!!
I used to have trouble choking down food (I long for those days… LMAO!), and when I did, I ate something every 3 hours that had protein in it, whether I was hungry or not. On some days, this meant getting in a light string cheese or just swigging down a protein shake with a bit of ground up oats in it. A cool summer treat that I like is frozen strawberries blended with some protein. Mmmmm!! If you get a nice clean berry flavored protein, it is delicious, refreshing, and good for you! If you can’t get any clean food in you, I would say ANY food is better than no food! You seem to be such a light eater, and I bet if you can find a list of easy to get down foods, you can really start seeing even MORE visible progress!

GOOD MORNING JJanet, thanks hun. Yeah, the eating is the hard part. I’m doing Ok at it but it could be better. I am doing 2 days a week on the bike maybe 2 hours at a time. I haven’t been to kickboxing in 2 weeks so I am keeping my cardio to a minimum, BUT I do still have all this pesky cellulite (DOWN THERE) lol, I need some cardio but not too much.

Ahh!! Weeeeeeeelll… you did not ask for this gal’s opinion… BUT I’m gonna give it to you anyway because I am nosy like that.
I used to have cellulite on my thighs and butt area, but almost ALL of it went away!! Wanna know THE SECRET??!!
Hehehee. No big secret. This was in February-April, and what I did was I lifted HEAVY 4 times a week with almost NO cardio. I added in cardio the last few weeks of it, but otherwise, I just did a few minutes to warm up and cool down. But anyway, during this time, I wasn’t trying to make cellulite go away. I was just trying to reduce my bf. But a few months ago, I noticed it was gone. And stayed gone, even thoiugh I have put back on a few vacation pounds! So girl, it can be done without cardio.
You are so slender that it seems like 4 hours a week might be counterproductive towards your goals.

Hey, always glad for your opinion. I need to get a good routine figured out for my goals, lifting heavy hasn’t done anything for it so far but maybe it just hasn’t been long enough. My body is a bit strange and responds a little differently to various factors though and I am trying this and that. If I begin to drop any weight I will definately change it up. You are looking fabulous as always.
