Drops in the bucket, What are you going to do with your drop?
I’m sure you all have heard it and most of us have used it. The expression "That’s just a drop in the bucket." It can be used on so many different things, I couldn’t even begin to name them all. But, for now, let’s use it on us and our world. Too many people think, "What does it matter(good or bad) I am just one person, what I do doesn’t have anything to do with anyone else? or Can’t possibly affect the over-all big picture." Recycling, for example, it’s ok if I don’t, I’m just one person. Ok, let everyone think that and see what happens. Voting, it’s ok if I don’t, what difference does one vote make? Without them we might as well just appoint someone. Right? Negativity, my sour ass mood is ok, after all it’s just me having a bad day. How many other’s where affected that you didn’t even realize, by the negative energy you put out there in the world? These are but a few of the many examples that I’m sure we could come up with. Our world is one big bucket, and we are all just drops in it. Every drop that goes into that bucket not only makes a splash or a wave or a ripple, but every drop affects the over-all contents of the entire bucket. If you put in all good drops, well, no problem, you still have a bucket of good water. Start putting in bad drops and your bucket becomes contaminated, and with too many it becomes unusable. Right? So, how are you going to use your drop? I hope to make mine not only a good drop, but also one that makes a splash. Just something to ponder, til next time. C

Due to the amount of negative comments I have been seeing some make to those who are working hard, I felt the need to re-post this.

I try to be a good drop
Granted, I had a bad day but I still share a smile with those I see
You make a great point. It’s nice to be reminded that you count..
Thank you!

Thanks. You do count, all the time. I can get WAY to deep into all that "It’s all inter-connected stuff" if you let me. lol. I try to keep myself reined in.

That’s an awesome blog, and even better points. I am 100% with you on the voting part. My bit, too, is if you didn’t vote at all, you have NO BUSINESS complaining because you didn’t attempt to fix it (even if you voted for the party NOT elected, you still contributed).
Keep lifting hard, and enjoy a Sonic for me! I almost broke yesterday and the day before and grabbed a cream pie shake

poeple do matter and it only takes one drip of oil per gallon of water to make the whole gallon unuseable, I know I dont like drinking oil with my water but thats just me. I know if I have a bad day I try to keep to my self and not spread it around. when my wife gets in a mood it tears the whole house up then hours later shes running around apalagizing to every one. I admit I have had a few days that were bad but commpared with all the happiness I try to share every day people always say i dont let things egt me down and I always have my chin up (exept when it rains) but crg it never hirts to think I and alot of people dont realize that they are the people there is no colletive that says this is how it is and you need so many of the normal people to change that…. it is all the normal poeple who anr voting to make that choice and if you dont vote or atleast let your voice be heard then you might as well not be here or have any input into what goes on in the world. (rembleing) peace out you!
