Well, I have missed my workout for two days, but; it was SO worth it. I helped deliver my granddaughter, then I spent last night bringing her home from the hospital. She’s AWESOME! Now today I have to get back at it so I don’t lose what progress I have made. Wish me luck focussing.

I just HAVE to say it to the world. I had the honor of helping my first grandchild come into the world last night. She is healthy and strong and doing well, as is the mother, everything went GREAT! She is so beautiful. Amillia An Douglass, 6lb 11 oz, head FULL of black hair, LUNGS like a scuba diver. God bless this child.

OK, so this has nothing to do with working out , BUT; we are bringing a NEW body into the world today. Up all night with my daughter-in-law in labor. My granddaughter should be arriving sometime today. God bless this baby.

OK, so here in the beginning of my journey one of the biggest things for me is trying to gain weight(muscle) without gaining FAT(which is what I want to LOSE.) And Tonight I am taking my son and his 9 months pregnant wife out to eat for his birthday, which means celebration food, right? SOOOO, I am going to force on the will, and eat something "clean" high protein, low fat, easy, right? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. I will be strong, I will be strong, I will be strong.

I really have to thank my friend CSullivan for introducing me to this site and for encouraging me to get off my duff and get back to working out. I have gotten so much encouragement and support here. I feel like I can really stick with it and make a change in my life, I want to be the healthiest fittest me I can be. (and still want to be the hottest Grandma on the block)

I feel pretty good about things today, i felt like h**l after work today but managed to go to the gym anyway. My arms have awakened quickly, wish my glutes and quads would WAKE UP!!!!!!!

I was all excited because I had gained 2 lbs of my 10 lb goal last week and today I LOST THEM!!! I am right back to weighing the same as when I started. That BITES!!!!
