Reevaluating my goals 9-16-07
I’m taking a step back to reevaluate my training and my goals. I started off at 130 lbs and gained over 10 lbs of muscle in about 2 months. At that time I was working out once a day at least 5 days a week. I was taking creatine, protein and weight gainer supplements. A few weeks ago I started to scale it back to about 3-4 days a week. I’ve used up nearly all of my supplements. Right now I can’t afford to buy all the supplements I need. Unlike some people around here, I don’t have alot of money lying around to spend on $50 and $60 supplements that only last a week or two. I don’t have a large appetite so I cannot nearly eat enough to get what I need. So right now I’ve gotta do everything I can just to maintain my current weight. I’m guessing I can do this if I still work out 3-4 days a week and eat as much as I can, and can afford to. I considered taking on a second job, but then when would I have time to train? I’m not gonna bust my ass in the gym day in and day out for nothing….so, for now, at least until I can get all my ducks in a row, I’m gonna scale back my training a bit…and try not to be too negative about things that don’t always go the way I want them to

I understand about being able to afford everything. Putting money aside every few weeks for them gets tough especially when you want to consider things outside of lifting.
Do what your heart tells you and keep up the good work. You look great !

Keep up the good work Joe. It sounds like you have a good plan for your current situation. Who knows, you may still make good gains–maybe not 5 lbs/month. 2lbs a month is good–That’s ~24 lbs a year. Stewart
