1 Rep Max Calculators…
…are pretty cool and fun to play around with, but the higher rep counts seem to be a little inaccurate. The closer to the actual 1 rep max you get, will obviously be closer to being the truth. The thing that spurred this whole thing on was yesterday I did 225 on the bench for 11 reps. Input that into a calculator and it comes out saying that my max is 313. While I would love to say that I could put up 3 plates, it just simply isn’t the case right now…yet

I agree. Seems that the calculator assumes they’re all perfectly clean reps and that you do not hit failure. Considering that they’re not terribly far off.
