so i got a sweet squat rack, bench, dumbells going up to 100lbs, and probably 1500 lbs in plates….so guess what i’m gonna do….set up a gym at my house! and i’m also going to start training people for less that what they would pay for a trainer at a gym…cuz im way better than those chumps….haha

So today my friend and I worked out Bi’s and Tri’s. This workout gets you crazy pumped…and if it doesn’t…then you probably have a blood deficiency and should go to the hospital! ok so this is a superset program, you do a bi exercise, followed immediately by a tricep exercise, thats one set. do 2 sets light weight, and then two sets heavy weight. rest periods should be about 45 seconds. ok so here is the exercise order that we used today.
standing DB curls with a twist –> cable pressdowns
2 sets x 25-30 reps
2 sets x 8-10 reps
DB hammer curls –> standing overhead tricep extensions w/e-z curl bar
2 sets x 25-30 reps
2 sets x 8-10 reps
high cable concentration curls –> cable rope press down
2 sets x 25-30 reps
2 sets x 8-10 reps

so tomorrow is my last day with the m-stak. its a pretty good sup, although i didn’t really gain the weight that i wanted to, but i did gain some strength, which in turn will eventually lead to putting on some weight. It says to take a week off then you can do another cycle, but im not sure i will just yet. i think im gonna get some NO-xplode, that stuff is awesome. then after that i might hope back on and do another m-stak. so the final verdict…..
strength increase - 8/10
weight increase - 3/10
workout intensity - 6/10

so i am seriously considering entering my first BB competition. It is september 13th and they even have a 1st time competitors class, so i don’t think i will find a better one to enter, timing is great too! I am about 90% sure that i am going to do it. This should be tons of fun!

I just got my Animal M-stak yesterday, so today will be my first day working out with it. I am actually really excited about it, seems to be a legit supp. I also just read an awesome article on dieting for upcoming contests. It’s very comprehensive and i would love to see the progress i could make on such a diet. There is a contest close to where i live coming up in september, which would be a great amount of time to be able to prepare…so i guess we will see.

So I just ordered the Animal M-stak by universal, hopefully this lives up to its hype and i can put on some more muscle to help me put on another 5-10 lbs. Starting it next week….can’t wait!!!!

…are pretty cool and fun to play around with, but the higher rep counts seem to be a little inaccurate. The closer to the actual 1 rep max you get, will obviously be closer to being the truth. The thing that spurred this whole thing on was yesterday I did 225 on the bench for 11 reps. Input that into a calculator and it comes out saying that my max is 313. While I would love to say that I could put up 3 plates, it just simply isn’t the case right now…yet

I FINALLY gained a few more pounds. I went up from 185 to about 190, then stuck between 188 and 191, mostly 188 though. I have slowly been gaining some more weight again and today I was 194, so I am ecstatic about that! Now for that 3 plate bench that has been so elusive!!!
