Indeed. This has been my issue for years. People fear failure, I fear success. I'll kick the habit one of these days. I think fitness really plays an integral part in pushing farther and reaching goals.

I think cheats are good. Not for revving the metabolism. But to keep you from going off a major cliff with binging, etc. Believe me, it is a PROCESS in learning to reign in the diet. You will find yourself slowly exerting more control over what you eat, and how far you go off the reservation when you stray.

Don't sweat the weight gain. Most of it is undigested food, water, etc. My weight can vary 3-5 lbs day to day, and I'm not a big person. It's hard to lose 1 lb of bodyfat, but it takes a lot to actually gain a lb of BF also. Tthat would mean consuming 3500 calories MORE than you burn off, pretty darn hard to do unless you eating non-stop for 3 days........LOL.

Awesome is right. That's way cool. I've been thinking that I hope my daughters will ask to go to the gym with me one day, with the hope of instilling a lifelong passion for fitness in them. About 2-3 wks ago they told me they want to go with me when they're older. Cool!

Congrats on the improving cardio. :D

I want to try spin sometime. It'll have to be on a Saturday morning. The weekday morning classes start too late for me to get out of the gym when I need to. Sounds like a major sweat session.

Hey, you've uncovered one of the unknown secrets to the universe with this cake revelation. :D

Well, I really only have TODAY to go. My no cheats roll is only for June. Then I go back to the May part of the 60 day challenge, which was 1 PLANNED cheat day per week, on the weekend. I'm pretty sure I will do that on Saturday.......July 4th.
