I officially have four weeks left in my gym’s weight loss competiton. Over the next four weeks I am hoping to drop another 8 pounds! I know its a stretch, but two pounds a week can be done!! As soon as this competition is over, there is another one starting. I am going to sign back on for it. I love the accountability it makes you have for your progress! I’ve been doing these grueling workouts four times a week w/ straight cardio on Tuesdays and Thursdays! The changes this has made to my body are exciting to say the least! I’ve been truly amazed at how my clothes fit, mighty loosely! Which is AWESOME!!! So, four weeks to go…..and I am a very competitive person, so I say GAME ON!!!!

Well, had my weigh in this morning. Only down .6 of a pound to 164.4. I am rather disappointed! I cannot seem to get a groove going at all. I’ve watched my intake this week, worked out like mad, and do not see a change in the scale. GRRRR….its starting to tick me off!!!

Well, tonight I headed up to the gym and completed an hour and a half of cardio. I feel I made some big strides today! Hopefully I can make it up in the morning to get a quick 30 minutes in on the treadmill to kick off the day. I really want to continue with the two workouts each day. I want to pull a big loss this week on the weigh-in. Wish me luck!!

We all need it. It’s that one thing that keeps us all going for one more rep, one more set, or one more mile. Today I started a weight loss competition at the gym I’m going to. I’m pretty excited about it! It’s only 12 weeks, but hopefully this could help catapult my weight loss into bigger numbers! That’s what I’m wanting! More weight off…more body tone! Wish me luck!!

Yesterday I had a great leg day! I’m already feeling it today! I seem to be doing okay on weight loss. I’m seeing about 1/2 a pound loss each day. Somedays I feel I am really busting tail and don’t see the difference. Then on days I feel I slack, I seem to have noticeable loss! It makes no sense to me! But I like seeing the scale number get lower and lower! Thats what counts right now! I know it took me several years to get this size…and it won’t all come off over night! I just don’t want to get frustrated!!!

Thank Goodness it’s Friday!! Had a mediocre cardio session this morning. I am starting to get a cold, which is making it hard to breathe. Since I am home all day today, I think I might go for a very long walk! Tonight is my leg night…which I am looking forward to! I am trying to wait until Monday to do measurements again. I am really anxious! I do not want to get discouraged!! I realized yesterday that my scale is flipping out! It likes to fluctuate by about 8 pounds from one moment to the next! I am going to get new batteries today! So hopefully I will see more loss in that area! Wish me luck!

I find it important to post a bit of history about myself. We all have history. Some of it is good…some of it not so good. My fitness history has had its ups and downs! Seems more downs than ups though. I have always been active. I’m very much into sports! My husband(flamekiller) has lifted weights since I met him. I was in GREAT shape when we met! I never felt like I was skinny enough though. Gotta love those thoughts we have of ourselves as we look in the mirror! I myself have always felt fat! Now that I look back at those pictures from 10 years ago, I think….Damn girl you looked good! Isn’t it ironic! Now I am on a quest to get my body back! I’ve gained probably 50 pounds since then. I’ve had a child…experienced knee surgeries…broken toes…but thats all history now. I am commiting myself to a strict six week diet! Starting today! My anniversary is in exactly 6 weeks, and I want to look GOOD! Wish me luck!!
