Advice on Knee injuries..

September 10, 2007

I currently started running on regular basis on paved road. I had just bought nike air 180’s. As I started running around 2 miles, i started noticing each time a pain getting worse and worse in my leg. I had a nerve that was being pinched causeing from my knee down to become really hard and numb. Than sure enough I had my amount of time running cut in half due to that pain. Usually on the right inside of my knee is where it gets a little swollen. What weird is i was told while running, you want your form good and your feet hitting heal to toe. When i do that, i feel the nerve get pinched and the pain start up. Its like I have to have my foot hit flat and use my other knee to lead the way while running.  I am just wondering if any has had a similar injury or situation and what they went through to get better. Right now that is my biggest concern. Getting back in shape and my knee back to normal. Take care!

Hello everyone!

September 10, 2007

Hey everyone,

This is my first blog. Due to an arm injury I had, I had stopped working out for about a year and some change. Back to working out again. My workout habits include: light weights and alot of reps. Usually about 40 mins on the bike and 25 to 30 on the elliptical. I am currently trying to drop at my body fat and than work on building muscle. Iam combining cardio and weights. I am taking multi-vitamins, Optimum nutrition protein shake, and metabolife supps. I Love to work and keep active. Iam definately open for advice and tips that any can give. I am pretty much a down to earth person. Take care and wish luck to everyone working out!
