Today (technically yesterday) was quite stressful! Regarding my goals, I fell off track around lunch time as I was relying on the food at a luncheon. The selections were so poor- basically salad and shrimp! I’m deathly allergic to shrimp so that was out of the question! The salad was wilted, already dressed, and tasted horrible. I had had a cup of coffee (w/skim) and a bowl of oatmeal (w/ 1% milk) for breakfast which was my saving grace. After losing ground with that lunch I barely stayed on schedule. My day was so busy!!! On the bright side, I got to hear Bill Gates speak at this year’s Harvard commencement exercises as well as see Bill Russell (Celtics) and a whiole slew of VIPs. Very cool and inspiring- it just took a toll on my eating habits for the day. And I got home at 12 am– too late to hit the gym. This is ok though I’ll hit the gym tomorrow and will stick to plan then. How do you all manage to stay on track when chaos and busyness come into the picture? Especially those of you with families or multiple demands? Any advice?
