My body has responded really well to this new program that I am on and quickly too! I’m so excited. The only thing that I need to do is kick up the cardio a notch. I am supposed to be doing 3 sessions for 20 mins a week. Last week I only did one… oops. And it actually looks like a lost weight over thanksgiving. Which is really surprising considering I ate out ever day and was on the road for 8 hours home and then 8 hours back. It’s been really easy to switch me into hyper mode, so maybe me pinging off the walls (and truck door) burned some calories.lol, i wish.

Progress pics are up

November 24, 2009

For those of you who have been asking me. I didn’t put any up for the longest time because I was ashamed that I had let myself go. But now motivation is back in full swing, I met someone at the nutrashop who took a look at me and told me: Don’t you dare try to be little. You have great genetics, you need to be lifting heavy. That kind gentleman gave me his email and then gave me a workout plan to follow. How awesome. And he’s willing to help whenever I need it.

mmk. I’m out of protein powder. So I rummaged through the samples I have gotten from bodybuilding.com to try and find some protein or just a postworkout supplement. Well, I found one, Anabolic O.D. from Muscle Asylum Project. It is a "hybridized muscle mutating post-workout composite." I thought to myself that it sounded like fun and I gave it a try. The flavor is Chronic Fruit Punch (keep this in mind). I poured the packet into my shaker and "HOLY ****, IT’S GREEN."

Despite the vomit color, I drank it. It tasted like naNoVapor fruit punch, but a little better.

toodles. might post again soon.

alright people, yes, I know that one of the things to do when embarking on the journey of fat loss is to post pictures, but you’re going to have to chill for a while. I will not be posting pictures until I feel like it. Sorry, but please stop asking me to post new pics. I will eventually, but at the moment I don’t feel like it.

sorry everyone for my lack of activity on the site, I’ve been lazy. Lazy in every aspect I suppose. I have been faithful to weightlifting, but not to my diet. Yeah. It shows. So, I am basically starting from square one. I’m ready. I’m tired of feeling like a pudge.

The amount of baked goods present in this household is unreal. My grandma should be shot. She’s even part of the Weight Watchers program and she still turns out enough sugary snacks to end the life of a normal individual.

Thank god the tredmill works. And I have the downstairs to myself.

As of now, I am a Florida girl, in Iowa, surrounded by snow and zero (minus more when the wind blows), and no gym. I’m serious, there is NO GYM in this small town. So, I have packed an arsenal of jump rope, 15lb DBs, resistance bands and a list of bodyweight exercises. There is a tredmill who’s working ability is questionable, but I believe I can make this work. All I really have to do now is mind my eating and I shall be fine!

experiencing the joys of creatine for the first time–> bloating like none other. Do I just need to increase water intake to decrease the dramatic amount of water retained?

I’m almost back where I was strength-wise before I got the flu and I feel good! I have uped my cardio and taken up running outside again. I’m surprised that I am able to do my old route, it’s about three miles, and for not running outside for prolonged periods of time, I’m surprised I was able to hop right back into it.

Alright, just for an update, I did well on Thanksgiving day, didn’t totally go overboard on the eating-turns out I have will-power after all.

Friday I came down with the flu. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (oh, I guess that’s today) I have been out of it and naturally, out of the gym. Hopefully either Tuesday or Wednesday I will be back in, don’t want to risk breaking down my immune system. Hope everyone else had a good holiday weekend!
