Well I know it’s been forever since my last blog, I don’t know what my problem has been with keeping up to date with things!
Well my wedding is less than a year away, I have picked out my dress and now I need to get my body ready for the walk down the aisle.
I have moved for school so I’m at a new gym and having to meet new gym people. Luckly I’ve been able to schedule my classes around a great gym schedule. I’m doing cycles of two weeks of 2-a-days and 1 week of once-a-day for mon-fri and always only once on saturday and I rest on sundays. My workout times are at 7am and 3:30pm, so it gives my body enough time to rest. Plus I’m doing each body part twice a week. The schedule usually changes, but I try and do push/pull groupings. I’ve been super-setting all of my workouts and doing active rest with a jumprope….yeah, I’ve been dying! Also, I’ve gotten my diet back on track, I’ve gone back to the eat clean diet, I just find it very easy to follow and I love it. I’m eatting 6 meals a day usually as follows:
6am: 4oz sweet potato, 1 scoop carbfree protein powder
10am: 1/2 c oats, 1 scoop carbfree protein powder, 1 tbs flaxseed, 1/4 of raisens (or 1/2 c blueberries)
12:30pm: whole grain wrap, 4 oz chicken, raw spinach, carrots, & a nectarine or apple (or 3/4 c cottage cheese with fruit and 2 piece of kavi crisp bread)
3pm: apple or nectarine with 1/4 c plain almonds
6pm: 4oz chicken, 1 c spinach/broccoli,or green beans, 1/2c brown rice
8:30pm: 1/2 c plain fat-free yogurt, 1 scoop protein, 1/2 piece of fruit (or fruit and almonds)
I know I need to cut my carbs a bit, but I’m going to wait until the New Year for that, I just love carbs so much!!! So yeah, after a few months of major slacking and stressing I’m back on track! So hopefully I’ll be able to see my body transform into the perfect wedding body!!

For the last year or so I’ve been eating clean: lots of fruits, veggies, lean meats, whole grains, etc.So after about a year of loosing the same 10lbs over and over again I decided it was time to try something drastic. So I’ve started the Anabolic Diet, I like it so far; but I’m only on day 5. It’s very weird to be eatting lots of fatty redmeats with butter and cheese, it’s completely different from my normal diet.
In the morning I feel great, wide awake, energetic, etc. But around 1pm I crash and become a zombie until about 5-6pm when I get energetic again…odd I know. It’s also messing up my stomach a little bit, but nothing that I can’t deal with. But for some weird reason (possibly just stressed from being carb depleted) I’m really emotional, kind of embarrassing. I literally got tears in my eyes because my fiance told me an outfit didn’t look good….it was really weird, I usually don’t care about stupid stuff like that, anyways. Only getting 30g of carbs is kinda hard because I absolutly love fruit and oatmeal and I’ve had to cut that out, but other than that I’m loving it. I’ve lost 5lbs this week, I know it’s mainly water, but I’ll take any little bit I can get right now. I really can’t wait to see abs, triceps, biceps, quads, and delts…..oh I want to see them, I know they’re there! The wedding is only a year away now…I’ve gotta look the part before I walk down that aisle.
I still have a few questions about the diet….I’ve been doing 60% fat, 35% protein, 5% carb M-F and 60% carb, 35% protein, and 5% fat Sat&Sat. I’ve been calculating my 30g of carbs with my green veggies included, I’m counting every carb, I’m not exactly sure how it’s suppose to be done. I’m not getting all of my calories in though, I’m working on it, but I’m not use to eatting this many calories in a day….sad I know.
Does anybody have any suggustions, or helpful tips I could use? Thanks for taking the time to read!

Hey all,
I’ve had a few people ask me where my blogging skills have gone, I’m so sorry; I’ve been a tad busy lately! But here’s an update!!! Some of you have noticed that I posted new progress pictures and I’m sporting a slightly slimmer stomach My training hasn’t been what I’ve wanted lately, with new physical therapy, new clients, and school I’ve been a little busy. I could work out early in the mornings, but I’ve been keeping my lazy butt under my warm covers! But I’m still getting about 1-1.5 hrs 5-6 times a week (including cardio) I know, I’m slacking!!
Right now I’m not allowed to work lower body due to my knee surgery so that’s put a damper on my workouts, I miss squats, and heaven forbid I say it, I even kinda miss deadlifts. But my therapist said that I’m making wonderful progress and I should be finished with therapy after two weeks, then I can start adding lower body to my workouts! I’ve been trying to focus on my arms lately, I want to machine guns(biceps) along with some handguns(triceps). I’m actually really excited because I can see the definition between my delts and tri’s when I’m working them, it’s like “AHHHHHH there it is!!!” I put boys to shame and it’s a wonderful feeling!! My biceps are very stubborn though, but I’m going to keep working them!!
Since I haven’t been able to work out as much as I would love I have been extremely strict on my diet. I’m still enjoying The Eat Clean Diet by Tosca Reno, it’s amazing! Since January 1st I’ve lost 7.2 lbs and I’ve seen a huge difference in my stomach! YaY!! For this month (January) I want to get my weight down into the 150’s. I’m at 162.8 right now, so I have about 2 weeks to loose 3lbs, I think I can do it!! After that I want to loose at least 5 lbs a month until I reach 130-135. I’m getting a lot of support from all my co-workings at the gym and some from my boyfriend.
So that’s the latest! School, clients, and diets rule my life But I’m definitely making improvements on my body and getting some definition!! Here’s to January, an awesome kickoff to the year!

Today was my first day back to the gym and work since my knee surgery (12/20). It felt so good to get back, I couldn’t wait to be back in the gym and lift some weights, really get my muscles to feel it. It was kind of funny once I got there though, because tons of people were giving me weird looks for working-out while on crutches. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do!! I only did an hour long upper body workout, very light, and I still got super tired! I grabbed some 20lb dumb bells and snatched an ajustable bench and did: alternating incline DB curls, shoulder press, hammer curls, chest press, chest pull overs, and front raises. I did 3 sets of each at 10-12 reps or until failure on some. I had to take plunty of breathers though!
A lot of the guys in the back were really nice too, one helped me get the weights from the rack to my bench and another guy helped me get the weights from the floor to the rack (I had pushed the dumb bells on the floor with my crutch from the bench back to the rack, but I couldn’t get them back onto the rack). I’m actually a little sore right now. I’m just so happy I could get back in there. I go for my check up appointment tomorrow to see if I can start putting weight on my right leg. We’ll see!
After my workout I had 2 clients, they went well, I wasn’t too tired for them. Just both laughed at me for actually being at work and hopping around the machines. Plus, I picked up two more clients today!! I’m super excited to start working with them! But now I’m happy to be sitting here on the couch, even more excited to climb into bed!

So I had knee surgery today, the surgen removed part the bone on my tiba near by right knee cap and repared a torn ligament. Needless to say I’m in a lot of pain right now, but CBCUTSHAW is here taking care of me! The Dr. said to stay off my feet for at least 2 weeks and I’ll be on crutches for at least a month. So it looks like I’ll be working on my upper body!! I didn’t think the surgery would be as painful as it is, I was hoping to get back into the gym by next week; mainly because I’m suppose to have clients on Wed and Fri. But I don’t really see that happening, I can hardly hop to the kitchen without having to stop and rest. Also, it’s completely throwing off my diet. Oh and as an update to my last blog: I’ve lost 4 lbs!! But anyways, I don’t have an appetite, which I guess is better than having a huge one. We’ll see how it goes and I’ll keep everyone posted!

So I talked to PaintedGrrl about how she’s transformed her body, said she used The Eat Clean Diet from Tosca Reno. So, of course I went out and bought the book, read it, and loved it. Nothing like a good read at Barns&Noble. I started the program on Monday and the food is awesome! I’ve lost 2lbs so far, I’m hoping to really drop my weight down and get my body fat low. It really isn’t hard for me to follow, because it’s the foods I already eat, but TECD does 5-6 small meals a day; I was still having breakfast, lunch, and dinner be slightly larger than my snacks, so I’ve corrected it and tried some amazing new recipes!

I’ve made a lot of changes lately within my workout and supplements, I’m hoping to see results soon. Here’s whats going on: I’ve just started taking a new fat burner called Hotrox, I’m excited to see if it actually works for me! Also, I finished my muscle building workout, it went very well, I saw major improvements! Now that it’s finished I’ve started a high intensity, high volume workout. Hopefully it will help lean me out a bit, I’ve been keeping my rest periods a little shorter and keeping that heart rate up! Ah soo much fun!
I noticed that I haven’t put up any recent pictures, but they’re coming soon. I just wanted to thank everyone for such nice comments and encouragement, it really means a lot to me! Ok, I believe that’s all for now. Have a great day!
