Pimp C

Although most of ppl on here are not aware of who he is, I just had to put it somewhere. Pimp C was half of Duo rap group called U.G.K. He was found dead this morning in Los Angeles in  hotel room. Although I do not listen to rap anymore he was someone I grew up listening too. He will be greatly missed among the Hip Hop community. I first heard his music in 1992 when i was in the seventh (7th) grade. He performed with some of greatest in the industry Too Short and Jay-z are just two of the many. No weights

My new workout for the start of  new year will consist of no weights. My new workout will push ups, pull ups, body rows, dips, crunches, lunges (no weights) running drills and some other exercises. This is to try to see how my body will respond to a weightless routine and also to mix it up a lil.

No Energy

I woke up this morning knowing i had to workout before i went to work but not knowing what i was going to eat. So i ate the lil oatmeal i had left and started working out. Mind you i skipped my saturday workout so i thought i was going to double up this morning. i did the regular Monday workout with no prob but when i got to the workout i missed that is when the problem started. Halfway through the first exercise i started getting a lil dizzy. Immediatley i knew what it was. The lil oatmeal i ate wasnt enough to fuel me through. i have doubled up before so i knew i could do it but the energy supply wasnt there for this one. So i finished the first exercise of the next routine and cooked something esle to eat. That just wont get done today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I had a client today!!! This was our 3rd session of training. today was suppose to be shoulder, bi’s and tri’s day. So we started with the machines ( shoulder press) her shoulder started hurting. So we went to incline; shoulder hurts. OK, lets do legs then. Lying Ham curls; "Cramp in her calves". OK Stiff leg deadlift, "the bar is hurting my hand". Now we do lunges on the smith machine: " My hip hurts now" Now i am frustrated. So we go some bi’s/tri’s. first exercises were cool. But we go to the cable now; " this hurts my wrist" what i am suppose to do?????? I dont think she really wants to work!!!!!

I stopped using a protein supplement that i was taking in powder form to see what would happen. I have noticed since I have stopped taking it I have leaned out more. I had muscle but they werent real defined but since then they have become more defined but at the same time I have noticed on some of my exercises i have lost a little strength. So now what do i do, sacrafice strength for looks? I think I will!!!!! I am not trying to play football or any other sport for that matter. I just want to look good and be in shape. I know if I work hard i will get my old strength back. But again it is only in a few exercises, not all of them so it isnt all bad for me.

Massage

I know I have said for others to get massages to improve their workouts but i havent been getting them myself. I just got one today and I am going to start trading massages with one of my co workers. Massages are beneficial in many ways. But i need to start getting them so i can lift better so I can achieve the goals i have in phyiscal fitness. I have some jacked up things going on with my subscapularis, infraspanitus and my neck so hopefully i can get all that worked out and get going towards my fitness goals

I am a massage therapist and fitness trainer but I do very little training for others right now. I am working on getting a fitness bootcamp started to boost the fitness training and get more massage clients for clinical, medical or therapuetic massage. That is what I want to really get into because I work in a spa right now, I hate it with a passion. Because most people get into fitness to loose weight  not gain muscle and I am going to help the ones who are trying to lose. A gym isnt necessary to lose weight so I am going be independent and take it outside with the public. I am trying to my Boot camp started before the new year. It is time to change my career for a better life for me and my future for family

Great Idea

I had the greatest idea ever. i was going go swim for about 30 minutes. That quickly changed after about 10 strokes in the water. I swam 50 meters and i was tired as ever. I decided to go for another lap and almost drowned. After I almost didnt make it back to the wall I said that is it for the day. I think I may have spent 10 min in the water. It was some HS kids in there on a swim team that were acting like they were fish. And a man and woman that were in the water well before I got there and there still swimming like they just got there when i walked out the door. I was like dam. I have a new respect for all the swimmers, water polo, and tri-athletes out there. I just have to keep going back to into swimmers shape. These last few months of the year are going to be a challenge for me in the cardio dept. Running on the sand, swimming, jump rope and bench jumps are going give some good workouts for the rest of the year, i can see the fat melthing now

New Cardio workout

Next week I start my new workout plan. It isnt much different from my old one just different weight. But my cardio is going to change dramatically. Today i tested one of them. In high school it was a warm up for basketball. I said to myself " I must have been in good shape back then, because is killing me". We called them bench-jumps, where you jump back and forth over an object that comes right below your knees. I did it for about 8 min but the goal was 10 but I know i will make it. That is going to be one day a week, while swimming, and running on the beach will consume the other 2 days of cardio for the week. The swimming and bench jumps are going to get me, Dang almost forgot the jump rope, that goes with the bench jump days. I am really in for it now since I havent done neither of those in years. But that is my new cardio plan. i hope i will make it.
