I am a half a week away from finishing up this routine i am on ( 5X5). It has been kicking my butt. Next week I take progress pics and get new maxes for everything that I do. I am going to include swimming once a week into my new regimen though. I am looking for it to give me a good cardio and also tone my upper body without the use of weights to give my shoulder joints a rest. I went and looked at a swimming pool in the area today and I must say it looked very intimidating. It must be an olympic size pool doubled. But i am going to do it once a week to see if changes my weight and physique any. along with that I am going to hit the beach harder too. I go from time to time now but I am going to make that a once a week thing also. so that is 2 good cardio and easy on the joints exercises 2x a week. I know that pool is going to wear me out too. so wish me luck

I have a week left in my 5×5 workout routine. I stretched out to a 6 week program, I started noticing changes in the 3rd week of the program. To be honest I am bout ready to drop it before that. I think I set it up wrong for myself but I am not going to change now. It is 4 days a week with Mon and Thurs been my hard as hell days where I do Shoulder, Incl, flat, decline all presses. then Squat and Stiff leg DL. For the finish I do up right rows, push ups and lunges. It really kicks my but Tues and Fri are virtually easy days with back, bis and tris. So at the end of next week I will have bew numbers up of myself as far as wt, and max goes

I want to run

I want to get a good run in today but I have a couple of problems. 1. it is hot outside. If anyone knows what it is like to live on the I-10 stretch between tx and florida know what i am talking about. Even at night sometime the humidity is so strong that it will make you stay in at night. 2. because i dont have a gym membership, I cant hit the treadmill either, so if the humidity doesnt calm down soon I dont what I will do

milk free

Everyday my diet gets stricter. I wanted to change my protein shake mix so I was doing some research on what is in each one. Come to find out there is milk in the whey protein mixes and I am trying to have a dairy free diet. I cant seem to find anything out there that would be suitable for what I am looking for. If anyone here knows of anything that doesnt have dairy in the mix please let me know..
