My Story
For the last 2 years i have been working hard to bring my physique up to my optimal potential! I fell in love with the sport of bodybuilding when i went to the Arnold Classic 2007, I met all the big names in the realm of bodybuilding and decided that day i wanted to be a bodybuilder! I had no idea what it took to go through a pre-contest diet and the dedication it took to get my body to a level! I had a bodybuilding coach/very good friend guide me through the challenge! I had complete and utter determination to be the BEST i could be! My diet lasted for 12 weeks and that included 2 a days for 6 days a week, there were times i felt discouraged and thought sometimes i wasnt going to get to where i needed to be but that was just my mind playing tricks on me! I new deep in my Heart i was going to meet my goals! I started my diet weighing 214 and was around 8 percent body fat, i ended up on stage at 184 and was around 4 percent body fat! I DID IT! I new i was the biggest guy there! When you are on stage you think that and have to think that or you are going to lose! I ended up gettting 3rd place out of nine guys in the Light Heavy Weight division in the Natural Great Lakes IronMan show! I was kind of disappointed at first for the 3rd place finish, but then i thought of what it took to get to where i was and i new i was a champion to everyone that was there for me and believed in me! I plan to compete in the Central States this Mid August and hope to come in leaner, dryer, and harder then my past show! Thanks for reading and for those of you that dont believe in yourself, Its a LIE! Beleive in yourself cause you can only beat yourself!

WOO HOO! Good job man. Though I didn’t compete I know a thing or two about prep diet. It makes your brain do silly things!! Anyway, you placing in the top 5 is a HUGE accomplishment!! And kudos to you for finding the postitive after feeling slightly negative about your placing. You made it through where countless others would have quit.
