			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So i haven&#8217;t updated, but i completed the Keto diet for 4 weeks and lost a total of 8lbs.  I have progress pics and the final ones seem to be really good!  It was pretty hard, i would say i followed it about 80% of the time and i may have gone overboard with the cheat day on Saturday.</p>
<p>I had a project for work and had to do a couple of night shifts, so i&#8217;m all screwed up. I&#8217;m taking this time to recharge, allow my self to fall off the diet a little.  My workouts are still good, i&#8217;m trying to figure out a 4 day split.  Come Sunday i&#8217;ll be ready and kick it full force with the diet and workouts!</p>

<p>So progress seems to be slow and steady.  Yesterday, weighed myself and it said 162.  NOT BAD!  I&#8217;m skeptical cuz i always teeter 1-2 lbs.  So i&#8217;ll check again this afternoon and if i&#8217;m still there, i&#8217;ll take it!  My abs are slowly coming in!</p>
<p>Halloween is a week away and i&#8217;ve come to realization that i probably won&#8217;t be as cut as i had hoped, but this is still good.  I&#8217;ll be wearing white underarmor as part of my costume, so i want my muscles to bulge in it!  Minus the stomach bulge.  I&#8217;ll be posting pictures!  When I was researching online for my costume, it had a bunch of not so fit people trying to pull it off.  One thing for sure is i&#8217;ll look better than those guys!  HA!  Thanks to the tips of BB.com! (like my plug?) HAhaH!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just finished eating my mid-morning snack of boiled peanuts&#8230;</p>
<p>This keto thing is not as hard as it seems.  But yesterday I almost had a breakdown.  Even though I live in Florida, I still celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving (which is this weekend) It&#8217;s just an excuse to get friends together over food.  So a bunch of my friends decided to have dinner together.  I made beer-butt chicken!  Sooo guuud&#8230; and still keto friendly, just don&#8217;t drink the beer! But my brother&#8217;s wife is an awesome baker and made some smore pie concoction! *drool&#8230;  I had one spoonful and it took all my will power not to have a whole slice!  hahaha&#8230;So i stuffed myself on 1/3 of the chicken and a couple of Korean short ribs (Kalbi).  I just came back from working out, so i was ravenous!  I still managed to keep my calories and carbs in check despite the awesome food that was there!  I hope there are some leftovers tomorrow&#8230; Saturday is when i can have my cheat meal! *crossing fingers</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This diet has been the best diet I&#8217;ve ever been on!  It&#8217;s actually not been that hard! <p>I&#8217;ve also read how some people get tired of the meats they are eating.  I gotta tell you guys, it&#8217;s been great for me!  I&#8217;ve rekindled my love of cooking AND eating for that matter.  Beer butt chicken, steak, ribs.  Who says they can eat this good on their &quot;diet&quot; to lose weight!</p>
<p>And speaking of weight, the scale says i lost 4 pounds!  Now i&#8217;m sure some of that is water, with my reduced carb intake.  But it&#8217;s still great motivation!  Whooo!</p>
<p>It hasn&#8217;t been that easy though, my hardest part of the day is lunch.  Work cafe doesn&#8217;t really offer much for a keto diet.  I mean they have salads, but the protein tends to be missing.  i guess i&#8217;ll be doing more brown-bagging at work.  =)</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On my quest to achieve a better physique I have done many kinds of workouts.  I did traditional three day splits, HST workouts, P90X, full body splits, etc.  All have helped me in one way or another.  The biggest results I&#8217;ve received were from HST and P90X.  HST really helped with strength and size gains while P90X helped me shed some poundage will giving me muscular endurance. </p>
<p>Now time for something new.  Some people may comment why try and fix something when it is not broken as those routines have given be some real gains.  But after some research, there are experts in the field that have been doing this forever and their training principles have quantifiable proof that they work.</p>
<p>So enough of that&#8230; here&#8217;s the workout:</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve been doing some research and I&#8217;m going to do 4 day upper/lower body split.  I got an example from one of the articles on the supersite page and we&#8217;ll see how it goes.  I&#8217;ll start monday.  If anyone else has a great split let me know.  I&#8217;ll probably hit up the forums as well&#8230;..</p>
