New workout split

So i pretty much completed P90X… I was only able to do 2 weeks of Phase II because I went on vacation. I lost 10 lbs and got a good amount of definition in my muscles.  Looking at my vacay pics i still want to gain some good mass, so looking for a new workout split.  Don’t get me wrong P90X is some serious stuff, I just don’t have the cashflow to purchase heavier weights in order for me to gain mass.   I’ll definitely go back to it when i want to cut again!

I’ve been doing some research and I’m going to do 4 day upper/lower body split.  I got an example from one of the articles on the supersite page and we’ll see how it goes.  I’ll start monday.  If anyone else has a great split let me know.  I’ll probably hit up the forums as well…..

 

Phase II Recovery Week

Last week of Phase II means recovery.  Taking a break from the traditional weight workouts, but still doing the cardio.  I figured, i’m going to hit the gym and throw in some heavy weights to twist things up.  Oh man, my strength went down for sure!  I’ve been doing such high reps for so long that my heavy and low reps got affected.  Oh well.  I definitely see more cuts in my body though!  It felt great to push heavier weights again!  Will post Phase II pics by the end of the week!

Phase II of P90X is a bisnatch!

So my posts are getting screwy… so i’ll repost!

 

I’m at the end of the first week and i’m all kinds of sore!  I haven’t been sore like this in a while and I’m loving it!  Freakin corn cob pullups!  wtf!  I need to buy some more dumbells, cuz i’m getting stronger, ha!

 Here’s to a six pack by my bday!  August 22!  I should be finishing the P90X program by then! Yessir!

On my 3rd week and sore as heck!  I’m trying my best to keep up with the vidz, but intensity is through the roof!  I thought i’d be missing the big weights that i was pushing in the gym, but this program is what i need to shock my body into new gains.  I’m cancelling my gym membership for 3 months until i finish the 90 days of P90X!  Off to do the king of all the workouts PLYOMETRICS… *phew!

Just got back from Costa Rica

Sucks to be back…

 Spent a week in Costa Rica.  Saw everything from waterfalls to white water. Iguanas to howling monkies.  Mountains to beaches.  Gringos to Ticos.  It was a great trip!  It felt great to take a week off of everything!  No training, no dieting, just get energized or another workout program.  Now i think i’ll be doing a traditional 4 day split:  Arms/shoulder, Back, Chest, Legs.  See what that gets me.  I’ll post some updated pics with my dark dark DARK tan!  LOL

Aquatica

Went to Aquatica today…

Abs still not popping, feel bloated from going out yesterday with some old friends and had a few beers (cheat meal).  I think if i quit drinking beer, my abs would’ve been here by now.  My original goal for abs was April 1st.  So… i think im going on a beer fast add more cardio and keep up with a more strict healthy eating.  I have three weeks until Costa Rica!

Back with the living

My stint working nights sucked…. I’m so happy to be back among the living.  I’m back on a regular schedule, so my eating and working out is all back to normal.  This is the last week of sets of 10 for my HST workout.  I’m still off the White Flood.  I’m only taking protein and BCAA’s for my workouts.  I think next week i’m going to be back on it and add some creatine for 3 weeks to get a mini-bulk going on.  Then the last week do a good cut, so i’ll be sexy for all the chicitas in Costa rica!  LOL

Back with the living
