New workout split

So i pretty much completed P90X… I was only able to do 2 weeks of Phase II because I went on vacation. I lost 10 lbs and got a good amount of definition in my muscles.  Looking at my vacay pics i still want to gain some good mass, so looking for a new workout split.  Don’t get me wrong P90X is some serious stuff, I just don’t have the cashflow to purchase heavier weights in order for me to gain mass.   I’ll definitely go back to it when i want to cut again!

I’ve been doing some research and I’m going to do 4 day upper/lower body split.  I got an example from one of the articles on the supersite page and we’ll see how it goes.  I’ll start monday.  If anyone else has a great split let me know.  I’ll probably hit up the forums as well…..

I did a 4 day upper/lower split last cycle, and it worked out really well. To be honest, I was putting on mass better than my current hit-each-bodypart-once-per-week plan.

    Mine was…
    Monday - Chest/Back/Shoulders/Biceps/Triceps
    Tuesday - Legs/Abs/Lower back/Forearms
    Thursday - Chest/Back/Shoulders/Biceps/Triceps
    Friday - Legs/Abs/Lower back/Forearms

I kind of went on 3 week mini cycles so that I emphasized a different bodypart each week by working that body part first. So, for week 1, I did Chest/Quads first. For week 2 I did Back/Hams first, and week 3 I did Shoulders/Abs first.

I know everybody is different, but I made some really great gains this way.

    Good luck!
