Bye bye Christmas
I’m sad, but happy Christmas is gone. The family is leaving, the shopping has slowed, the need to please has suppressed, and the Christmas eating/partying is dying down. I gave myself two days of guilt-free eating and a break from working out. Christmas is a time to spend with family and friends enjoying each other’s presence, presents, and food also takes presidence. But today i was excited to workout! I got to leave work early, called up my buddy, took 4 caps of white flood (from the sample packet), grabbed my freshly delivered wrist straps, protein mix, and banana and killed it in the gym. Did a great Pull day and the straps definitely allowed me to push an extra 10-20 lbs on all my lifts!! The two days allowed me to recharge for a great workout.
P.S. had dinner with a couple of friends tonight and two who i haven’t seen in a while. Both of them said, you’ve been working out, huh? Which to myself I smiled and gave a humble, "yeah" and inside i was screaming "whooooooO!"
