‘Tis the Season

The holdiay parties are taking its toll. Had my work party yesterday and it was a smorgasbord!(sp?)  It was potluck lunch at my boss’s and everyone went full force.  Fried chicken, mac n cheese, cheesecake, all kinds of dips, cakes.  Then afterwards a couple of us went for a "few" drinks.  Then that lead into my friend’s Christmas party that night.  More beer more chicken wings.

I am a weak man… it’s hard to not get caught up in the festivities.  It’s hard to not be social.  This is turning out tougher than i thought…

    There is nothing wrong with being social and enjoying yourself. The holiday season is time to relax and enjoy. You can do all this while working out. If you want a piece of cake, eat it. If you want some chicken then eat it.

    It took a while to get to where you are now. So, don’t worry about it. Just continue to working out and the damage if any at all will be minimized.

    The human body is an amazing machine and you will be surprised at what it can do.
