Death by Burpees and Deadlift/push-up ladder

Good news, after three weeks on the shelf due to a STUPID ankle sprain, I was back at it again to day….bad news, my conditioning felt like it was in the toilet!

I was so excited to be CrossFitting again, I did a pretty ambitious workout today. It started out with "Death by Burpees" which is when you start a stop watch and as it runs, perform one burpee the first minute, two the second minute..and so on, until you can no longer complete all the reps in the allotted minute…this was a lot harder than I thought it would be, and I failed to complete my ten reps in the tenth minute.

After a little recovery period, I started a running clock for my deadlift/pushup ladder. Deadlifts were performed with 225#.

It felt great to be back, and yes…Pukey the Clown showed up between my set of 3 deadlifts and 8 push-ups. Well, I’ll write again soon, stay tuned!
