Recognizing a slump
Wednesday, January 28th, 2009So I have hit my usual slump of not wanting to workout, although I recognized it before I gained any weight back. This is a good step in that when I usually get into this slump I gain all the weight I lost back twice as fast as I lost it. I plan on hitting the elliptical when I get home from work today. I am saying this to motivate myself, as I am going to a hockey game tonight, I think I can get home for 5:20, get on the elliptical for 5:30, and finish the elliptical at 6:00, shower and get to the game for 6:30. It will be tight, but I should be able to do it, and after that I will be re-energized to hit the gym every day.
In other news I am still doing by combat conditioning workouts. I am slowly getting a bit more flexible. One other thing I want to mention I think I am going to bring my jump rope to work and have a good session on that every day at lunch.
