Weekends

I’ve always known this yet never thought much about it. Weekends are my enemy, this past weekend I gained back all of the weight I lost during the week. It’s not that I eat horrible, I think it is more to do with the beer that I drink. I’ve never come to a conclusion like this before, but I may quit drinking. I don’t think I will quit forever, just leave it for very special occasions. I think it is the only way I will make my goal weight.

Advancing

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

I have kept with my routine, and finally I am starting to see my weight drop a bit. The only difference I have made is that I go into the gym at my condo on my running days and use the elliptical.

I hated the elliptical when I first started using it, but now that I have used it a few times its great. I find that I don’t slow down like I would running, and I don’t get shinsplints on it like running. I can do a half hour workout on it and it is like my hour long run.

Waiting

Friday, December 5th, 2008

I am finally back in a routine, since my last post I have been running every night and working out three times a week. It feels great, except I feel weak. Sitting at a desk every day has made me lose some of my muscle mass. So I have been working hard to get stabilizer muscles back. I hate not having stability in my lifts. Also right now I am working out in the evening, and the gym is packed, I would like to try and get up in the morning and go to the gym then.
