Weekend

I went out of town this weekend for my grand mothers birthday. It was a bad weekend for me, because my mother was there and she is anorexia so

 so I didn’t want to go for my runs because she would want to go with me. So I chalk it up to a good weekend for her and a bad for me… I would rather see her gain some weight than rather than me lose it. But anyways back to the grind today, and tomorrow I will be hitting the gym hard.

I guess another thing I could do is ask is there anyone with some good advise for battling anorexia? My mother does eat but not enough, and she exercises way too much. She power walks 15km every day and workout 4 days a week on top of that. I think she only eats about 1200 calories a day. She is 5’11 and 104lbs, which is up ten pounds from, were she was.

Shin Splints

Can anyone help me, I have been told that streching properly before running will help shin splints. What kind of stretching should I be doing? Thanks in advance for your help!

I have kept my running up, over the weekend, which is usually the factor that makes or breaks a program for me… So this is good, I have also stoped weighing myself every morning as it is easier  to see losses  over a week rather than day to day. I really need to stick to this program and advance from were I am. If I don’t make any progress this time I probably won’t be able to make my goal.

When I was in good shape I used to run every day. So the way I figure it, if I get back into a routine of running it will slowly get me into better shape. So today, even though it is freezing out side I went for a walk/run it was hard but I walked to the track and ran and walked eight laps then walked back to the house. I think that is a ok start. Now I just have to keep my motivation.

Back to Global Fitness

I am finding the gym in my condo to be too small, it only works if there is only one or two people in it at a time. So I need to go to my normal gym on my workout days. I can do cardio at the condo gym.

One thing I have to voice frustration with is, the other day I went to the condo gym to work out, and this person had moved the weight training bench out of the way so she could do crunches in the middle of the gym. Even though there is plenty of room to do crunches off to the side, and out of the way… she was doing crunches for about 15min but didn’t use any other equipment… I’m not sure why she couldn’t do crunches in her condo??

Need Recipes

Hi everyone I am looking for some new recipes. I am getting tired of the same old thing. Maybe could someone give me a link to a good website, write out a recipe for me. I am also trying to loose quite a bit of weight, and I weight train. So I like to have protein with most of my meals. Thanks for the help!!
