Moving

These last few weeks have been very busy. me and my fiancĂ© found a new place to live and moved, we just moved this pasted weekend. Which sucks because I have no time to go to the gym, but at the same time moving is hard work. So I haven’t been able to weigh in as my scale is packed away somewhere. But I am convinced that I have been at least maintaining my weight if not losing some more weight. I am hoping by September I will be completely finished all the moving "fun" and back into a gym routine. A new development is, now I have moved into a condo, and have no room for my home gym stuff. I do however now have a clubhouse at my condo with most fitness equipment, so that is now my home gym… But as always I will continue with my current gym.

Summer Cold

I have had this cold for two weeks now, making it very hard to work out, and hampering my weight loss. Every time I try and do anything from simple things like taking the garbage out, I have a coughing fit.. Since it is summer, this is always when I lose the most weight, just being outside. But this cold has kept me on the couch. If anyone has any remedies for getting rid of a cold please let me know.

Sick of being sick

So it turns out that riding your bike 21km, when you have a could doesn’t help…. In fact it kept me home the next day! Summer colds are weird, and they hard to get rid of. This cold is a crazy one, it isn’t just staying the same, it keeps evolving and changing into different symptoms. But finally I think it is just about done, or I hope so at least, I am supposed to play golf tomorrow. Come on Cold FX and Green tea…

A Good Start

I woke up with determination this morning, even though I am suffering from a cold. I ate a Bowl of real oatmeal, until now I have been eating instant. Then I hopped on my bike and for the first time this summer I rode my bike to work, it isn’t as easy as it sounds. It is a 21km ride but it only takes me about 55min. Although it isn’t the greatest feat as it is mostly down hill, I would like to just once this summer ride my bike home. i have failed many times at this before. But I believe I should be able to do it at least once, even if I walk up some of the hills. If anyone has energy saving tips for riding up long hills on a mountain bike please let me know.
