Progress

Tuesday, July 29th, 2008

I have started to ramp up my workouts. Since I sit at a desk all day, now at lunch I go outside and play basketball, then when I get off work I go to the gym for an hour or two, then when I get home I go for a bike ride.. As I have just started this yesterday, I hope to be able to continue with it..

Stickin to it

I have been sticking to my diet or new way of eating pretty good, staying away from carbs in the pm, And overall eating less. So my next step is to stick with a workout program, but as of yet I haven’t been able to do that, I have simply been trying to get more exersise without a plan. Right now I live a long way from my gym so it is difficult to get there as much as I’d like. I would like to find something I could do at home that isn’t boring like running… I sometimes go for bike rides but I find just going for a bike ride is boring, I need to be able to ride my bike to work. this would give me a purpose. Does anyone haveany Ideas on how to make cardio more fun?

Plateau

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

I have reached a plateau in my weight loss, I have discovered that my low carb diet only works to a point now I will have to step up my workouts. At this time I am going outside at lunch and playing some basketball. It helps me make it through sitting behind a desk all day. I am also going for a bike ride after work every day around my block, which is harder than it sounds. I live in the mountains, not the hills alot of you flat landers are used to I live in the mountains in BC. I have only been hitting the gym once a week but I think that know I will step it up to three times a week. I also want to try and get up a bit earlier to go for a morning jog. This should start my day off with some decent metabolism. I have my eye on the prize this attempt, all other attempts I have failed before I have gotten this far.

B4L Progress

Thursday, July 3rd, 2008

I have been doing pretty good. But as of this far I have only been doing a bit of cardio and eating better. I have kinda hit a plateau with this routine, I am still losing weight but I am not  gaining enough muscle. Today I will start my workout routine. I will be starting a high intensity cardio, with high rep low weight workout to start. With this new routine I think I will have to up my carb intake before working out. After my workout I will have a protien shake for dinner.
