The Benefits of Rest
June 25, 2009Today, I had another great workout. I was actually able to train delts heavy, when just a couple weeks ago I couldn’t move my arm without my shoulder hurting. I just wanted to share my philosophy with others about not being afraid to take time off, because in the long run, it will pay off. If you are injured or don’t feel like working out, take the day off and do something fun… come back the next day and I garuntee you will have more energy and a better workout. Trust me, I know bodybuilders (including myself) like to stick to their split, but taking a little break, even just a day off can really help you out… whether you are injured or just run down.
