Okay so I’m pretty much back to my weight before…145 lbs…not completely sure though. I have a problem again. I am in a cast again for at least 4 more weeks. I cannot put any pressure on it yet but give me some advice on what I can do. I feel like I have let myself go since I can’t do anything. I just need some motivating advice. Have any??? Please respond back then!!!!!!!!

I weighed myself last week and realized I gained sooo much weight over the holidays. I can’t even say how much because its embarassing. I know what I need to do but I choose to do nothing. I’m so disappointed in myself…as a woman and as a mother. It just really sucks…constantly thinking about food….constantly putting myself down when I fail….I just wish it would all stop. Will it ever for me??
I know that is a defeating attitude but its hard to not be that way. I read so many peoples stories and think why can’t I be that person? What makes me so different? Ugh! I just need a workout fairy and a nutrition fairy…any takers?

I haven’t been the best this past month…I would like to think partly because I couldn’t get on the internet to get my support from all of you guys but I know its just because I lack the motivation to keep up with anything. Doing something for a day or a couple of days is fine but to keep at it, is hard work. I will concentrate more on myself. I want to be healthy and love my body that I have. I’m back everyone…advice still always wanted!!

I decided to try and do the Body for Life…with great people like semiV and Fitbit to keep asking questions to I decided I can do this. So anyways if anyone else has some little tidbits for me, I’m always listening. I’m still reading the book but everything seems straight forward and with the website, that really helps.

now that I’m looking for some stuff for my personal workout equipment, I can’t find any! Previously, I have found aerobic steps, free weights, benches….all sorts of stuff and now NOTHING. I went to a couple today but no luck! I’ll hit some up tomorrow as well, hopefully I can find something. I need more than my treadmill and 8 lbs weights.
I am really feeling good about my run/walking 2 miles everyday. So I have been doing it since Sunday now and I don’t always want to do it but I know it won’t take me long to get it done. Now don’t laugh but here are my times starting Sunday to finish a mile. I do one mile and then do another. My ankle still bothers me so I can’t run forever!
Sunday 18 mins & 17mins
Monday 17 mins & 18 mins
Tuesday 16 mins & 17 mins
Wednesday 15 mins & 14 1/2 mins
So I know its helping me out, at least with my endurance. My doctor did tell me that I shouldn’t run because of the impact but I don’t have anything else to do. I figure its better to push my ankle a little bit rather than baby it, right? I’ve been sticking with my weights…doing 8lb bicep curls, tricep…but really I need heavier weights. I need to do more squats and stuff. I’m getting there!
Any advice, always welcome!

I’m going on my 3rd day of run/walking 2 miles everyday. I plugged in some numbers to a site that said if you do 15 miles of just walking every week by the end of the year you have the potential of losing 21 lbs. And let me tell you, I’m sweating all over…almost looks like I just took a shower. So I figured it definitely couldn’t hurt me, right? I really need to get more weights the 8 lbs are pretty easy. Garage sales here I come!!
Eating is still coming along. I bought two watermelons and ate an entire one today…I know, I shouldn’t eat that much but man, that tastes so good on a really hot day! I need to be drinking more water. Right after I do my cardio, I drink 8 oz of milk with protein whey and a tablespoon of lite chocolate. Delicious!! I’m sure I’m not getting all my nutrients for the day. I’m really trying though. Can someone just move in with me and make all my meals and snacks for me? I’m serious…

I didn’t lose the 3lbs that I was hoping for but I did lose 2 lbs, so I will take any lose as a major gain! Thanks everyone for the motivating words. Where I have my faults is definitely in the eating but at least I know it, right?? I’m drinking more water and trying to take in more vegetables. Any little bit helps, I guess.
With the exercise, I have been doing 20- 30 minutes of walking on the treadmill in the morning and doing the same at night. During the day, I throw in some strength work….lunges, squats, abs, planks, and working with my weights of 8 lbs. Any more ideas would be awesome too! Always up for improvement! So this month I want to lose 7 lbs…1 lb to make up for what I didn’t lose. I know if I just changed my eating habits my weight would be so much different.

What an awesome movie! Anyways, I have been doing my cardio when I wake up and doing some more at night. Partly because I am bored…not working right now!…and partly because of the amazing women on this site. Eating is very off for me. I just can’t seem to eat clean. I know what I need to do but I’m just not there yet. One day I just wish I wasn’t thinking constantly of food…what to put in my mouth and then being disappointed because I put horrible food in my mouth. I figure though if I could slowly just change little things in my diet then it wouldn’t be such shock to my body. What some good things to incorporate in my diet?? Easy things people! And what are some good strength training exercises? I am not going to a gym right now but I do have a treadmill and a couple of weights. Help me!!

Today, I was on a roll on not eating anything healthy for me! I know it was because my sister is staying with me and her kids last night…We went out for lunch at Mcdonalds! I know, I know horrible food!! Then my dad stopped by later for dinner bringing pizza and bread! How do you people not give into temptation? I think if I had this site on 24/7 I would be more apt to eat better. Everytime I come onto this site all of you guys motivate me. I think man, if they can do it, why can’t I? When I’m tempted, I always break and then I feel awful!!
Anyways, now that I can do cardio should I do it in the morning when I wake up and then later do some lifting? What would be a decent plan for me to start? Suggestions??
