GREAT workouts!!! …16.5 weeks from Jr. Nationals
Monday, February 23rd, 2009So last week I got a little carried away with a workout cuz I accidently did 3 workouts together (thats what happens when you just hang out with people that are working out lol) I did 45min of cardio then a 10:45 instant death crossfit workout then a complete leg workout with deadlifts! Yea I definitely felt that one for a good 4 days afterwards lol…
Today I did upper body 3 sets of 8 heavy superset with a burnout of the antagonistic secondary muscle (bent over DB rows with tricep cable pushdowns or Barbell press with bent over reverse flyes)… I ended with a whole heep of functional abs (hanging ab raises for my press holds, bicycles for running, etc)… Then 30minutes on the bike…
I will officially start counting calories next week but I am down to 118lbs with 13lbs to go to reach my goal weight in Chicago. Thats less than 1lb per week so I’m pretty confident I will be losing majority fat and maintaining muscle. So far so good.
As for my injuries, my back continues to bother me but o well I’m not stopping. My hip flexor had been ok but it started naggin me this weekend so I’m going to take it easy but I am doing a full leg workout on Wednesday so we will see…
