13 minute workout!
Saturday, August 18th, 2007I am 7 days away from the Florida State bodybuilding, figure, and fitness Championships and I’m absolutely SICK of doing cardio! I am also way to close to competition to skip out on workouts, so I changed it up a bit this morning. After doing 25 minutes of routine work (which is hell on low carbs), I taught my boot camp class (50 min of aerobic style resistance and bodyweight exercises), then I decided I still needed more:
8 sets of 5 cleans @ 60%max
THEN
5 sets of 5 snatch @ 70%max
30 seconds or less between exercises and 60 seconds between cleans and snatches. Altogether it took 12 min 57 seconds. Those last 3 sets felt like I was max-ing out! My forearms were on fire! I will go back later for 50 min on the stepper
but I think that was a great morning, considering I didn’t feel like doing ANYTHING when I woke up.
