Yeah a class would be key, but I haven't found one where I could fit it into my schedule. I think spinning would be a great one. Now it's all about finding low impact stuff to keep my knee from flaring up

Used to be a quick healer, but all the different injuries I've accumulated through sports have caused me to be anything but. The weird thing about this knee thing is that I thought I had gotten rid of it, but now it's back and getting worse daily. For a while it only hurt when I unfolded my leg, now it's starting to hurt all the time. I'm going to see the Dr soon, but want to get a few more days of wakeboarding out of the way first :)

I think a lot of people detest cardio. :) ME included!!! I have found the best way to make that hour pass QUICKLY is to do it in a class with the other cardio bunnies. :D There are not very many men who take those classes, but those that do certainly get respect!

I don't have pain in my knee area, but it makes some really freaky cracking and popping sounds some times! I am completely used to it, but it seems to freak other people out when they hear it. Sorry to hear that you're having pain in that area. Have you considered going to see a physiotherapist? If this were me, I would probably take this pretty seriously as knees are one of those things that seem to fail you when you're much older (my grandparents all had knee problems, and my dad has an old knee injury from tennis). But maybe you're one of those quick healers and you'll be writing a blog soon about how you rode it out and won! :)

It's cardio that i''m really struggeling wiht now, and I really need to get back at it.

My friend, go buy a jump rope. I will work wonders. And it's not as boring as trotting/jogging/running/sprinting, in my opinion. Of course, if you've never used a jump rope before there is a learning curve. Took me a while to get the hang of it. But trust me, it's well worth it. You get a better cardio workout in less time than running and the impact isn't as high, if done properly.

No doubt. I'm going really light with high reps. I just kinof need the feel of getting back in, plus it helps with my balance. Lunges were quite interesting though :P

Running I've chosen to keep it on the grass

I actually hit the gym on Mon, but had to go in to the doctor yesterday for abotu 3 hours of testing. They put me on steroids to bring down inflamation in my left ear and get my balance back.
This morning I went out and did 5 100 yard wind sprints to try and get back into running. I'm also going to hit legs this afternoon. The funny thing is that I actually look a little more cut from taking the last couple weeks off. I lost some muscle though. I'm down to 223lbs.
