Knee issues
Anyone have any experience with pain in the back side of the knee when straightening it out? I snapped my tib and fib a few years ago, and had some serious pain in the back of my knee due to it. The Dr never seemed really concerned about it though. I then self rehabilitated it over the following year and the pain went away. A couple months ago I reaggravated it doing wind sprints, and it’s progressively gotten worse since. It’s now to the point where it hurts all the time and limits what I can do in the gym. Any advise would be appreciated.

I don’t have pain in my knee area, but it makes some really freaky cracking and popping sounds some times! I am completely used to it, but it seems to freak other people out when they hear it.
Sorry to hear that you’re having pain in that area. Have you considered going to see a physiotherapist? If this were me, I would probably take this pretty seriously as knees are one of those things that seem to fail you when you’re much older (my grandparents all had knee problems, and my dad has an old knee injury from tennis). But maybe you’re one of those quick healers and you’ll be writing a blog soon about how you rode it out and won!

Used to be a quick healer, but all the different injuries I’ve accumulated through sports have caused me to be anything but. The weird thing about this knee thing is that I thought I had gotten rid of it, but now it’s back and getting worse daily. For a while it only hurt when I unfolded my leg, now it’s starting to hurt all the time. I’m going to see the Dr soon, but want to get a few more days of wakeboarding out of the way first
