Okay…while I am not a complainer by nature, I feel like venting about how unsatisfied I am with my progress in losing the fat around my mid-section. I have lost roughly 25 lbs. since late January and am very grateful, but I continue to torture myself with my mid-section progress. I have definately lost a lot in this area, but right now, I still see the same thing!

Granted, it took me about 15 years to gain the weight in that area again, and I know it won’t be another 15 to take it off. But…I just wish it would disappear! I sooo hate that area!! Does anyone have any tips for me to get rid of this stubborn area plagued with FAT??!! Am I supposed to be doing double sessions of 1 hr. cardio? I eat clean, so what the #*$%!!

Whew, that felt good! I don’t talk to anyone else about my diet and exercise goals; only because most of my friends and family think that I’m nuts because I CARE about my health and how my body looks. To them I am "skinny." Obviously, they are all overweight and suffer from illness and disease!

I’m glad I decided to blog this because it was just great to get that off my chest; I’ve been pretty down on myself because I haven’t seen the progress I thought I’d see at this point. Believe me, I do know that this takes time and there is no miracle pill or plan. I just have to work hard and it will come, right? RIGHT!

Here’s to another hard working week of eating clean and working hard at the gym.

Thanks for listening…

Well, I can’t believe it’s been 12 wks. since I made the lifelong committment to myself to transform my body and eat a clean diet 97 % of the time! It’s been a great 12 wks.! I stopped eating clean for a couple of days last week while in Vegas, but jumped right back on the wagon when I returned home. My profile pic inspires me even more to continue this journey. I had that black jumpsuit for 4 yrs. and it didn’t look halfway as nice as it does now!

I know I still have a long way to go, but the little changes help me to push on. I’m seeing change in my arms, legs and especially my mid-drift area! My problem, fatty shelter! It seems to be where all the homeless "fat" stuff goes when they have no where else to hide. Next Friday I will be 42 and I must say, I feel soooo much younger because of this lifestyle.

Come on 42, hell…come on 50! I ain’t scared of you!!! This is for LIFE; and I mean it.
