Running Update: Sept 8th
Ran 7 miles (11.2 kilometers) in 51 minutes. Felt easy for the first 20 minutes, but by the last 15 minutes I had to play a lot of mindgames to keep myself running.
Since this is my first post, I will include my two recent runs:
Sept 6th: Ran intervals on an indoor track. Two quick laps followed by one slow lap.
My ‘quick’ times were 66s, 70s, 74s, 74s, followed by a five minute break, and then 74s, 74s, 74s, 73s. My heart rate immediately following the 4th quick run was ~200 bpm and was 170 bpm after the five minute jogging break.
Sept 4th: Ran 7 miles (11.2 kilometers) in 54 minutes. Felt ok throughout. I managed to space out for 25 minutes which made the whole thing seem much easier.
