Bodybuilding…..Vain?
Having been a life-long bodybuilding fan, I have found myself defending our awesome sport more than once. Last Saturday I found that I was in a disagreement with family. I was actualy quite upset to hear my future father-in-law tell me that all bodybuilders were cocky, vain, self-centered, people. I argued for atleast thirty-minutes that this is simply not the case. Granted I haven’t spent a lot f time around the pro’s but, I have been around several amateur’s — and I disagree. Bodybuilding is a sport that requires some sense of vanity and cockiness, it is a sport about “me”, yet it doesn’t require that you be an ass — thinking that you are better than anyone on earth. Anyway, I was wanting some input on this subject. Maybe after I get some of your opinions I can argue my case better! Please feel free to let me know you feelings. Thanks, and God bless.

Well… anyone on the outside will always think that. It’s a reason for them not to look their best. The only thing you can do is to be an example. Yes, it’s a sport about "me", but most that I have met are more than willing to help anyone needing it… that’s NOT what I call being self-centered. Good luck with your goals and your upcoming wedding.
