High Frequency Training New Cycle

Hello Everyone,

I have started my next cycle of High Frequency Training.  I gained 4 pounds of lean muscle my last cycle through.  I will keep you up to date on my progress this time.

Day 6 - 30 Day Mass Plan

October 24, 2007

Day 6 was a light day.  The rep range was 20-25 per set with 2 sets.  The workout felt really good as I was just flushing the muscles with some blood

Day 6 Workout:

1. Push-up

2. Bent-over Rows

3. Pulldown (palms up)

4. Deadlift

5. Reverse Lunge

6. Wrist Curls

Day 5 - 30 Day Mass Plan

October 22, 2007
Day 5 was a medium day.  The rep range was 9-12 reps per set with 2 sets.

Day 5 Workout:

1. Narrow Hand Push-Up
2. Bent-Over Row
3. Overhead Press
4. Deadlift
5. Side Lunge

I stretched my whole body for about 20 minutes following this workout.

Day 4 - 30 Day Mass Plan

October 19, 2007

Day 4 was a heavy day.  The rep range was 2-5 reps per set with 2 sets.

Day 4 Workout:

1. Bench Press
2. Bent-Over Row
3. Pulldown (underhand grip)
4. Deadlift
5. Squats

I did a 12min interval session on the bike at the end of the workout before stretching out.

Day 3 - 30 Day Mass Plan

October 18, 2007

Day 3 was a high rep day.  The rep range was 20-25 reps per set with 2 sets.

Day 3 Workout:

1. Push-ups

2. Bent-Over Row

3. Overhead Press

4. Deadlift

5. Reverse Lunge

6. Forearm Curls

I added the Forearm Curls in today to help work on my grip strength for exercises like Deadlifts.

Day 2 - 30 Day Mass Plan

October 16, 2007

I had a great Day 2!  The workout went smooth and I didn’t have a loss in strength from the day before.  I thought my strength might go down because the workout was almost identical to Day 1.

Once again I did 2 sets, one warm-up and one work set.  Today’s rep range was 9-12 or Medium according to the plan.

Day 2 Workout:

1. Bench Press (1RM went up to 166lbs)

2. Bent-Over Row (1RM went up to 152lbs)

3. Overhead Press (1RM went up to 87lbs)

4. Deadlift (1RM went up to 173lbs)

5. Side Lunge

It was a great workout and I will talk to you again tomorrow.
