Damn… Finally!

October 11, 2009

I’ve been out of the gym for four LONG months! I had a bulging disc and could not even bend over to brush my teeth, hell, it even hurt to sit down and take a dump! It f#cking sucked! I’m all good now and tomorrow morning I start my cardio before I go to school and after class I start my weight training again. I can’t wait to get back in the gym. I gained some weight again, but my body fat is at 16% so i’m still better than when I first started lifting and taking diet seriously. I just hate the first couple days of waking up butt crack early in the morning. Well i’m going to get my sleep now, goodnight!

The “300″ workout

June 12, 2009

25 Pullups

50 pushups

50 deadlifts 135lbs

50 clean and press 40lbs

50 floor wipers

50 24in. box jumps

25 pullups

for a total of 300 reps. You do it as fast as you can while using perfect form. It took me about 40 minutes to do it. That workout is hard as f#<k! lol… I did it two days ago and i’m still sore.

Lower back pain…..

May 29, 2009

So for about a week now i’ve had lower back pain. It only seemed to hurt though when I would sit down. I thought I had injured it doing deadlifts, but I was confused because I didn’t even use a lot of weight that day for the deadlifts. Well this morning I realized why my back was hurting. Everytime I sit down on my laptop or bed I round my back, so when I straightened up the pain went away as if I never had it! I’m so glad it wasn’t anything serious. I was beginning to get depressed because I wasn’t going to the gym in fear of aggravating my back some more and thought all the hard work I had put in since january was gonna go to waste. I can’t go to the gym today cause I have to be at work in about two hours, but tomorrow i’m getting back in there for sure!

Intense!!!!

March 11, 2009

So I went to the Slipknot concert last night. OMG! They are freaking unbelieveable live! The adrenaline rush that you get when you get into the pit is amazing! I’m still pumped up from it lol…. I’m about to go throw some iron around at the gym listening to some Slipknot lol

Abs!

March 5, 2009

So I stopped doing abs for a week because I just wasn’t feeling sore the next day. I thought if I gave them a break they would feel sore again when I worked them out again. I worked them out again last night, and did different exercises then before; cable crunches, twists, negative leg raises, and this morning they’re still not sore! I used heavier weight for the machine crunches and for the declined crunches with a twist. What am I doing wrong? Do I need heavier weight? Or is this just normal?

Dammit!!!

February 14, 2009

I work at a pizza place, and as you can imagine, every time I am there there is temptation to eat something un-healthy. I’ve been doing good on making two meals to take to work so that I can eat every two to three hours. But last night was literally a mad house! I never had the oppurtunity to take my quick ten minute (paid) break or my half hour (unpaid) break. I was so hungry that I gave in, and ate some pizza :( I ate about three slices from an extra pizza that was made. Today I feel really lazy and bloaded. I literally just wanted to walk out of there last night and say, "f#ck it!" I obviously can’t though, especially in these tough times. Right now i’m about to eat and head off to the gym, it’s a leg day so hopefully my grogginess goes away soon. I just hate when I get off track, even though it was only a couple slices (medium pizza) I still feel like I messed up a total week of working out and eating clean. This really messes with my head!
