I’ve been out of the fight game for about 6 months. Not a long time but a long time for a part time fighter with a full-time job. Next fight is April 26th against a super-heavy for the belt. Right now I am weighing around 240ish. I need to get to about 255-260 and be comfortable at that weight. I know I can put on the weight, it’s just a matter of not loosing mobility with it. The guy I am fighting says he is 260, I saw him and he looked around 280, but it was pure fat. I know I have the cardio to tire him out. The plan is to shoot, pick him up, and slam him in front of his home crowd. All of the super heavys are just overweight farm boys. No offense to farm boys, they are tough but for the ones that never work-out, I’m going to give them a workout they won’t forget. Still lifting heavy, working the cardio, and getting pummeled nightly at the gym. Wish me luck to all who read.

i’ve been commited to working out consistently for a couple of weeks now. Proud of myself for stickin with it. This week and the end of last week have been awesome. Started taking NaNo Vapor and that shit is great. Making big gains as far as endurance goes. Lifting a little more but with alot more intensity, and focus. Alot less pain. Shoulders are a little pained but developing nicely. Going to do the 300 exercise this weekend. Taking tomorrow off as far as lifting, light Friday/cardio, then attacking the 300 exercise Saturday. Good luck to all who read. -chim

Still goin on the workouts. I am now helping the guys I work with set some goals and improve themselves.(hpaaron, dudleyk, cowboycp) We are all going to focus on achieving our goals in a competitive area. Between the 4 of us we are competing for the biggest gains. The 2 lowest buy lunch for the 4 come January. I am doing 2-a-days. Working out at home, then coming in a getting these guys going before we switch shifts over. Should have a good base line by the end of the week. I am working nights now (330-1230am) so i do alot of curls and crunches whenever I can at work. Wish us all good luck.

FINALLY STARTED WORKING OUT LAST NIGHT. WENT PRETTY GOOD AND NOT PAINED TO MUCH THIS MORNING. MAIN IMMEDIATE GOAL IS TO LOOSE THE LAYER OF CRAP ON ABS, AND GET SOME SIZE BACK. I’VE WORKED OUT IN THE PAST OFF AND ON, BUT NOT 100% COMMITED. I NEED TO DO IT THIS TIME, SET A GOAL AND DO IT. STANDARD BENCH, INCLNE, DECLINE, AND CURLS. WEIGHT WASN’T TO FAR OFF OF WHAT I WAS DOING A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, SO THATS A PLUS. I COULD USE SOME TIPS ON LOW IMPACT LEGS, AND SOME ABS EXERCISES. THANKS AND HELP KEEP ME HONEST!

Well today is the first of working out in awhile. I’ve always been athletic but in the past years I’ve gotten older and lazy. Time to re-focus and get back with it. I mainly work upper body because of bad knees, so any low impact leg exercises ideas would be helpful.
