Here we go! It all starts today!

So I decided this week I’m taking the plunge - I’m going for it, my first-ever figure contest! Why now? Because it’s time to put ME first. I’m making "taking care of Jenna" a priority. I have to tell you, I’m a little scared. What if my bodyfat doesn’t budge? What if I can’t bring it down in time? What if I fall off on my diet and start bingeing like crazy? What if my weight drops too quickly and my muscles disappear? What if I lose focus and stop training, or worse, give up altogether? I know my fears are very real and also very common for a first-time competitor, but in a way that’s why I’m doing this. As a recovering anorexic and bulimic, I want to face my fear head-on. I want to step onstage in 10 weeks feeling as though I have conquered it all. I’m going to try my absolute hardest not to focus on my fellow competitors and what they’re doing, rather I want to focus on me…pretty challenging since I’m a TOUGH competitor, but really it’s not about THEM. It’s about me…it’s about me looking and feeling my absolute best. So, this is my word right here, my promise, my committment to myself and this contest- no looking back now!
