Great week, but weekends are challenging!
You all know what i mean. Diet is on track during the week, but when the dreaded weekends come up it gets challenging. This weekend well it was Mothers Day
My husband is so used to going out to eat on Fridays and sometimes Saturdays. I have been going out with him and just trying to choose wisely. I need to get better with this and not get tempted when he orders dessert or appetizers. He keeps saying i will be alright, but he is a guy and he can lose way faster than i would lose. Lucky guys!
Another thing i need to crack on is lowering my cardio. I think i’m doing way too much and my body is holding on to fat! So i’m starting to just do RPM classes 2xs a week instead of 3 and my fav which is the step class once a week. Only warmup of 5 mins on non cardio days! Lets see what this does for me

The weekends are harder for me too. The diet always seems to be on track during the week, but then the weekends arrive and lunches involve what the kids like to eat, so it does get harder and I don’t want to be making two meals. Yesterday was good though, because they were happy with a nice turkey sandwich on whole grain bread.

Not all guys lose faster. I’ve always had a slower metabolism, thanks to my mother (who was obese most of her adult life). And now that I’m no longer 25………
But I managed to do fine on Mother’s Day……I did all the cooking yesterday.

Yeah, yesterday wasn’t so bad. Cooking ahead of time surely helps, but then again you really don’t want that food on the weekends at times…lol. Need to keep the cooking interesting.
