Weekend funks and new lifting stats
Saturday, January 26th, 2008So lately i have noticed that when refeed days (high carb days) roll around, it turns more into a cheat day. I am supposed to keep the fat low like to 20%, but i’m having more than that. Its been 2 weeks in a row now or so, i’m really going to have to buckle down if i want to compete this year. Can’t be dealing with food issues! Its just that i have been hungrier lately since starting my new workout routine and not eating on time doesn’t help! Thats why its so important to eat every 2-3 hours and get in at least about 5 meals in so you aren’t scavenging the pantries for something to eat…LOL. Like some bear or something! Its always the weekends, during the week i do great and the evil weekends are out to get me or something. I do realize i have full control so i will have to nip this in the bud!
Also if you have noticed my lifting stat numbers are going down. This is due to the higher reps i have been doing with the new workout routine (5×10, splits 5xs a week). It still burns and muscles are continuing to grow. That just shows you that those weight numbers are so important, but it is crucial to eventually increase them as time progresses. Building strength and mass is my goal, patience is of the ESSENCE!
