Eating was ok, need to eat a bit more and on time. This is something i am having some difficulties with lately. I am going to start timing my meals at set hours and try to follow that everyday or close to it. Week 1 on BFFM went alright, though i could have loved some numbers go down this week. Next week hopefully will be better! Last week in challenge #3 for me! YIPPEE!

RUN TIMES - I DID IT!!!

Monday, October 29th, 2007

I’m thrilled to say that i beat my goal for running! I did it last night and ended up finishing with a 55 minutes worth of cardio on the treadmill.

I ran 2 miles in 17.03 minutes and i ran 1 mile in 7.51 (previous time was 8.12 minutes)

I also did 32 military pushups before the run.

Super excited that i am getting better with the running. When i first started, my whole body did not like it. I would be aching and my hips for some reason would be hurting a lot. I would be sore for days after a hard run. Now its so much better! Not even sore from yesterdays run and i can actually run consistently on the treadmill instead of going really slow and then speeding up. AWESOME :) I just got a treadmill from our inlaws so i will be running more often and jamming to my rocking tunes.

Just thought i would share :) hmmm, 5k next?

Chin ups, Pushups and DOMS!

Wednesday, October 17th, 2007

Ok, so i have been adding these into my workout routines on weight lifting days and man oh man they are doing a number on my back! Can you say DOMS??!! I can only do a few complete chin ups, but that is quite an accomplishment because i have never been able to do these in school and haven’t tried them again until now! I can’t believe how strong i’m getting since i turned serious into fitness and health. I have also been doing full style military pushups and some tricep pushups. I’m assuming those are great for the entire upper body. I really want to focus on my back right now and want to see it cut so been eating clean still and doing the workouts, but it seems that i’m stuck at 20% bodyfat. Going to tweak somethings starting next week cause i want to see more mass and less body fat! If i plan on competing next year, i better get busy! Anyone got any suggestions/feedback for these exercises?

Low carb day, went pretty good. I am going to back off a bit on cardio and see what happens. I think its too much and my body is starting to signal me to slow down. Planning out a different workout routine, not sure when i’m going to start doing it, but it will be soon as i don’t want my body adapting to the current routine. I have been working with someone here about a new workout routine and i’m getting excited to try it :) we will see! Hopefully starting it in about 2 weeks.
