Catching up with posting workouts and how the past days went :)

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

9/28 Workout:

Cardio HITT - (40min HITT, 10min warmup) on Elliptical (morning)

Distance:9.01

Incline: mid to max

*Extra: 20 military pushups, 20 second rest, 10 more military pushups

Refeed day, overall good!

9/29 Workout:

Cardio HITT - (40min HITT, 10min warmup) on Elliptical (morning)

Distance:7.54

Incline: mid to max

*Extra: 25 mins running/fast walking around neighborhood with 2 of my daughters. 5 minutes bellydancing.

Butt bridges -> 50 reps, then 50 pulses

Low carb day. Aight day.

9/30 Workout:

Olympic squats - 160×3x3 (did 3 extra reps)

Bench Press - 90×3x3 (2 sets were close grip)

Barbell Rows - 94×3x3 (did 5 extra reps)
Decline Ab crunches - 0×8x3

Bench Dips - 25×8x3

*Extra: Barbell lunges (44lbs) - 25 reps forward, 25 reps backwards

20 military pushups, 20 second rest, 15 more military pushups

CARDIO: 1 mile run completed at 9.44 minutes. Total time on treadmill: 22.01 minutes (1.78miles).

Good day, slow Sunday :) Low carb day. Water intake going good and food is aight. Gotta catch up on meals though. Feeling like a CARDIO BUNNY!! Sheesh, but it does a body good!

My week is not going too good, WHAT GIVES??

Ok, this week is just not going good for me so far. Missing meals, not getting enough water…got to get it together. I do better when i plan if i’m going to be out and about most of the day. Need to be better at that next time especially visiting my mom. I managed to get my cardio in, but i missed my weight workout. I WILL get it done tomorrow though. Off to bed as i am getting up early for cardio. Tired as a MOFO!

My workout today:

Cardio HITT - (35 min HITT, 10 mins warmup) on Elliptical (evening)

Distance:7.52

Incline: mid to max

*Extra: Military pushups - 25, rest, 5 more

5 minutes bellydancing

How today went for me…

Cardio HITT - (40min HITT, 10 mins warmup) on Elliptical (evening)

Distance:8.67

Incline: mid to max

Ab Bootcamp –> 2 circuits (extra crunches)

*Extra: Straight line plank - 2 reps, hold for 60 seconds each, Side Bridge - hold 60 seconds on each side, bicycle crunches - 100 reps

Food was not 100%. I had Teriyaki chicken with steamed veggies at the mall and I missed a meal and i had half of a cinnamon pretzel that my dad bought me. He insisted i eat and i think he felt i was looking too skinny. Didn’t want to hurt his feelings, REALLY my dad is that touchy so i ate some of it. Every time i go around my family, they tend to comfort and surround me with food and usually its really fattening. Gotta love the family :)

Oh yeah!! BEAT my RUNNING TIMES!

Todays workouts:

Cardio HITT - (30min HITT) on Elliptical (morning)

Distance:5.48

Incline: mid to max

Ab Bootcamp –> 2 circuits (extra crunches)

*Extra: Straight line plank - 2 reps, hold for 60 seconds each, Side Bridge - hold 60 seconds on each side, One legged planks - 50 reps

 Cardio on Treadmill (19:38mins running, 3mins cool down) - Goal to beat 20min time

Ran 2 miles in 19:38 minutes!!! YAY, finally!  Last time was 20:11 mins which was done on 8/31.

Today went ok, missed some meals though. WTH?? I am not really hungry so not sure what is up. Today was a low carb day too. Felt pretty strong doing my workouts too. Running this time felt way different and i didn’t feel like i was running out of breath as fast. I ran constant almost the whole way through! Now i would like to get it at 18 mins or below :)

Today’s Workouts for Chicana_Peach

5×5 weight program (mid day)

Olympic squats - 150×25x5

Bench Press - 80×25x5

Barbell Row - 84×25x5

Bench Dips - 25×24x3

Incline bench crunches - 0×24x3

*Extra: 20 full pushups and 158 jumprope

Cardio HITT - (37min HITT, 10min warmup) mins on Elliptical (early morning)

Distance:8.48

Incline: mid to max

*Extra: 5 mins bellydancing. 30 one leg planks and plank hold for 20 seconds.

Eating was not perfect. Ate out for lunch at a Chinese restaurant. I had Kung Pao chicken, light on the sauce with no rice. A bit of vegetable soup. I limited my portions and drank water and hot tea. Not going to focus on negatives. Going to think POSITIVE and have POSITIVE IMAGES daily in my mind!<strong />

Bench Press - 80×25x5

Barbell Row - 84×25x5

Tricep Pulldowns - 20×24x3

Ball crunches with weights - 20×24x3

*Extra: 70 jump rope, 25 glute kickbacks with 10lb weight on each leg

Cardio HITT - 45 mins on Elliptical (morning)

Distance: 7.99

Incline: mid to max

*Extra: 100 crunches, 50 oblique crunches on each side
