Being sick with Pneumonia

 I was sick all this past week with pneumonia. I went to the doctor on Wednesday to find out if that’s what I had and it was confirmed. She told me to drink lots of fluids and I told her that was nothing new for me since I drink about a gallon of water a day. She laughed at me and all I did was smirk at her.I went to the gym today just to get in some type of weight lifting. I can not wait until I’m 100% better from this pneumonia. I’ll be back at the gym hitting the weights hard again.

Weights

I went to the gym yesterday to work on legs and I did some squats then I worked on the leg press and I was amazed on how much weight I had to place on the machine to even feel like I was working my legs. I am up to 644lbs on the leg press and it feels great to finally be able to move up on the weight.

More Progress

Friday, August 10th, 2007

Well, it’s been awhile since I have posted anything on the blog. Some update on my progress. As you can see from my progress pics I have been hitting the weights hard 5 days a week with 2 days off. My 10 year old son works out with me now. A friend that hasn’t seen me in awhile asked if I was taking steroids because of the amount of muscle I have gained and I told her no, all I was doing was working out 5 days a week, taking supplements and eating right. My son and I had a bet about something that was said on T.V. and the outcome was that he was wrong, so now he has to endure a week of my workouts for him.

A fellow police officer asked me today in the gym if he could start working out with me. I guess I am making a difference in my agency. Fellow officers can not believe their eyes when they see me walking down the hall from the changes my body has taken from a year ago.
