I have been suffering for over four years with a gastro-intestinal problem undiagnosed by several specialists. Tried a gluten-free diet which helped somewhat. Still every so many days the old queasy stomach, no energy, dairrhea or constipation returned. Before hearing about golic I used unfiltered apple cider vinegar &amp; honey for 4 days. No queasy stomach for 3 days. Will start the Vinegar, garlic, honey tomorrow.

Ha! Cool. And that's the same or similar mentality I had on my recent "cut." Initially, I saw no progress but then thought that if I stick with the 1500 calories per day that my body would have no frigging choice but to slim down. It worked and I felt damn good to finally be able to see some transformation-type activity going on, or something changing as a result of my lifting, cardio, and menu planning. Now I'm trying to shift my weight in the opposite direction - want gunz like yourz! :)

My weight dropped from 172 to 152 over the course of the last 10 weeks largely due to the oatmeal and other menu choices your blog spotlights. I remember reading that two pounds a week was the most "healthy" amount of weight for a person to lose so I kept my eye on the scale to see I didn't lose more than that amount.

Only 1500 kcals a day that included 1 cup of oatmeal (300 kcals), microwaved broccoli (no spinach, though), cashews, strawberry nonfat yogurt, grapefruit juice, chicken in the form of Healthy Choice's low-calorie and low-sodium frozen meals, and tomatoes.

I'd hit the local diner and order a plate of sliced tomatoes and some pickle spears. Odd looks, but who cares?

That meal plan included a number of foods from your list. Three times a week I also did a weight workout I borrowed from ChickenTuna's profile as well as at least five sessions of cardio per week.

The foods in your blog and consistency worked for me.
