I have had a great day so far.  I started with the conference call that we have every wed. for my company.  I was on bodyspace the whole time.  Then I went and did back and arms and 20 minutes of cardio.  after that I did some laundry and mowed the lawn.  Not that I like to do those things, but now they are done.  Then I went and got more propane and a couple big steaks.  now I am resting and drinking h2o while I wait to grill the second steak.  I need to stay focused on other things beside food.  I am going to do more stuff around the house and burn fat.

I Started a new program that I will do for three weeks.  This is posted on my bodyspace.  It is dedicated to arms and Fat Loss.  I was reading Muscle and fitness, May 2005 issue, and ran into a article named advanced Training Strategies.  I have had this magazine forever but referred back to it for some late night reading.  Anyway I found that Jay Cutler suggested that You pre-exhaust the Tris with Rope press downs.  Then do a supper set with an eazy bar Inside grip bench and strait bar press down.  I added a little flair and did a drop set at the end of rope press downs.  I love this routine.  My arms are sore this morning but just the right amount that I know growth is taking place.  I am excited to see what the next three weeks brings to my arms.  I have these long, 15 inch arms that seem to grow for nothing.  So I am going to blast them.  the rest of the weight training is mostly to maintain except for arms.  so wish me luck I will Need it.

Screw the Scale

I am not stepping on the scale for a while.  I lock at my body and I am very pleased with  the results that I see.  then I step on the scale and it seems I have gone nowhere or backwards.  here is the deal.  I don’t want to loose weight.  I want to loose fat.  Idealy I would be 250 with10% body fat.  so why do I let the scale tel me if I am succeeding or not.  I am going to do cardio and abs this morning, and have my wife take measurements tonight.  Wish me luch.

I have screwed up a couple of times on my diet, but have been training any chance I get.  This seems to be working.  It is very frustrating to step on the scale since it has been all over.  I am going more visual and am going to check out how much it will cost to get my bodyfat proffesionaly messured.  other than those ways all I have is my lift stats and the mirror to tell me how I am doing.  My lifts have been going up and the mirror has being good to me.  There is more definition between my chest and lats and my arms seem to be getting more developed.  Check out my progress pics. and tell me what you think.
