Cardio Hell
Friday, July 18th, 2008Well, I’ve upped my cardio to 4 times a week now from virtually nothing. I usually train in intervals either on the tread mill or the eliptical machine for no more than 35 minutes a session, due to the fact that I don’t want to lose too much muscle mass. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m not a huge fan of cardio. However I’ve noticed over the last 4 weeks that my endurance is improving and I’ve been able to control my heart rate a lot better than when I first started. I’ve definitely lost a considerable amount of BF% and am looking leaner throughout my core. Although I feel like I’m in so called cardio hell, I guess I am going to keep this as a staple of my training from now on due to the way I’ve felt lately and the results that I’ve seen.
